Dr. Jane Fisher

Dr. Fisher studied medicine at Oxford University Medical School and the John Radcliffe Hospitals . She returned there to research hypertension and heart failure for her Doctorate of Medicine (1994-7). She has dual accreditation (CCST) in Cardiology and General Internal Medicine (2000).

Dr. Fisher has worked in the NHS since 1988 and has been employed as a consultant cardiologist at William Harvey Hospital (Ashford) and Kings College Hospital ( London ) since 2002. Her special interests in addition to general cardiology include heart failure, hypertension, angina, echocardiography and coronary angiography. She is the Lead Cardiologist for heart failure and audit for East Kent Hospitals , and joint lead for heart failure in the Kent Cardiac Network.

Dr. Fisher has full admitting rights to the following private institutions: St Saviour's Hospital (Hythe), Chaucer Hospital ( Canterbury ), and Kings College Hospital ( London ).

Dr. Fisher lives near Ashford and is married with 2 small children.
